KeepN’Up Overview
Keep’N’Up is a SPA for the web that I created in AdobeXD. This application was and still is a personal project I designed to help keep people’s hectic schedules and information all in one place. I originally got the inspiration after battling the thousands of emails, text messages, missed appointments, and just simple everyday to do items that would get pushed by the wayside. I took a look at email clients, researched the SMS process, Bookmark sites, and yes the ever popular “Health Tracker” apps out in the wild.💚
health and Fitness
With everyone reaching for the Healthier choices in life, I had to drop in a Health/Fitness tracker that would allow the user to sync up their daily steps, heart rate monitoring, running distance and yes, the ever popular “step counter”. Ideally, I would want to go back and iterate on this so that the user could add some of their own daily health tracking specifics.
We all are reminded of our steps we take everyday, our heart rate, and whether or not we need to take a few deep breaths
Group Chat & text messages
We all love those group chats that somehow pop up at the most inconvenient times. Adding this feature into the application would ultimately allow the user to intervene on some of these wanted and unwanted conversations. Let’s admit it, there not all bad. There just may be a time when you don’t want to talk to 15 different people at once. This feature allows for complete control over these group chats!
Integrated MessaginG and Group chats
Keeping up with text messages from friends, co-workers, relatives can be a daunting task in itself. This approach allows the user to integrate their smartphones SMS API into the application so that the messages can be fed through the application giving the user a “one stop” shop approach. There are plans to continue to iterate on this design and bring in any “chat” software out there. Just a few that come to mind are Skype, SLACK, Hipchat, Stride, and Succoco. (I could keep going) But you get the drift.
Be aware! the Group chat frenzy is coming
This feature allows users to select specific people whether it’s co-workers, relatives, or friends all right within the application. We’ve all been there, you get a Group Text from 10-11 friends and you know you don’t have time to get involved in the frenzy of messages that are about to flood your phone, your thoughts, and lets not to forget; your job! Getting these during freetime can be great because you have time to talk to multiple people and see what everyone is up too. But, I also think we can all agree that there is a time and place for these group texts. The Keep’N Up app allows you to control the who, what, when, and the of course the WHY!
