One problem this client had was they had all this great content that they insisted keeping in the footer, that no one ever saw or cared to pay attention too. So, after several late nights and lots of sketching. I decided to take a tabbed approach but have it hidden off canvas and on click of the “shiny” new icons it would slide on up. Problem solved! 👊
The site was built with Bootstrap so the troubled areas of the site easily scaled to both tablet and mobile. One of my favorite parts has to be the “social media” button placement in the footer of the mobile view. Call me crazy, but those few micro-interactions there really make that component.
